The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of how Ximple Singapore Pte. Ltd. (referred to herein as "Ximple", "us", "we" or "our") manages your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy outlines our policy and responsibility in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data, in order to provide you with an efficient and user-friendly experience in finding the best user experience for you on our web site – www.ximple.me (referred to herein as “the Website”, “our Website” or “ximple.me”), Android and iOS mobile app (referred to herein as “Mobile App” or “App”).

This Privacy Policy is drafted in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“the Act”).

By using our Website, Mobile App and services, you agree and consent to Ximple collecting, using, disclosing and sharing your Personal Data, and disclosing such Personal Data to Ximple's authorised service providers and relevant third parties in the manner set forth in this Privacy Policy.

1. Your Personal Data

1.1 In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” refers to any data or information about you from which you can be identified either

2.1 Generally, Ximple collects your Personal Data in the following ways:

(a) when you register an account with us on the Website or Mobile App using your email address or Facebook account;

(b) when you submit queries, reviews, request for information, feedbacks, product registrations and online forms relating to any of our content or services

(c) when you register for or use any of our services on Websites and Mobile Apps owned or operated by us or when you register as a member of Websites and Mobile Apps owned and/or operated by us, or use services on such Websites and Mobile Apps;

(e) when you subscribe to our mailing list;

3.3 In relation to particular products or services or in your interactions with us, we may also have specifically notified you of other purposes for which we collect, use or disclose your Personal Data. 4.1 Ximple will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised disclosure. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, this Personal Data may be disclosed, for the purposes listed below (where applicable), to the following third parties, whether they are located overseas or in Singapore:

(a) Ximple affiliates;

(b) agents, contractors or third-party service providers who provide operational services to Ximple;

(c) vendors or any third-party business partners who offer goods and services or sponsor contests or other promotional program on Ximple's sites and App, in conjunction with Ximple;

(d) external business and charity partners in relation to corporate promotional events, or to facilitate the provision of services, products and benefits to you, either of general or of particular products and services which may be of interest to you;

(e) the Credit Bureau, or in the event of default or disputes, any debt collection agencies or dispute resolution centres;

(f) any business partner, investor, assignee or transferee (actual or prospective) to facilitate business asset transactions (which may extend to any merger, acquisition or asset sale;

5.2 Ximple may use software, codes or services of Third-Party Market Research Companies to measure and analyse the Internet usage across Ximple's Website and Mobile App. Pages on Ximple Website and Mobile App may contain codes that enable the Third-Party Market Research Company to track visitors to our Website and Mobile App.

5.3 This information is aggregated by the Third-Party Market Research Company and provided to Ximple for the analysis of the usage of Ximple Website and Mobile App. Such data may also be accessible by third-party media organizations and research companies, for the purpose of conducting industry comparisons with other Internet portals.

5.4 In order to improve your online experience, Ximple may track online behaviour or clickstream data to advance your use of our web pages and apps, and track referrals from other websites and/or apps. Such data is anonymised and will not be linked to your Personal Data and will only be aggregated for statistical analysis.

6.1 Our website and app may contain links to other websites operated by third parties, such as our business partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites operated by third parties that are linked to our website. 7. Withdrawal, Access and Correction of Your Personal Data

7.1 Should you wish to withdraw from Ximple Platform, please follow the instructions below:

- Navigate to My Account.

- Click on delete account option under Account, and follow the instructions.

- Your account and all data will be removed from our Ximple platform and you will receive a confirmation email upon successful removal.

7.2 Please note that if your Personal Data has been provided to us by a third party, you should contact such party directly to make any queries, feedback, and access and correction requests to Ximple on your behalf.

7.3 Please note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, Ximple may not be in a position to continue to provide its products or services to you or administer any contractual relationship in place, and this may also result in the termination of any agreements with Ximple and your being in breach of your contractual obligations or undertakings, and Ximple's legal rights and remedies in such event are expressly reserved.

 

8. Retention

8.1 Any Personal Data provided by you will be retained by Ximple for such a period as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or as may be deemed necessary by Ximple or where otherwise required by law.

9.1 This Privacy Policy shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.

10.1 Ximple may from time to time update this Privacy Policy to ensure that this Privacy Policy is consistent with our developments, industry trends and/or any changes in legal or regulatory requirements.
